I hired Eden and her fantastic assistant Constantine to do my hair and make up for my wedding day, along with my 4 bridesmaids, my mother, and mother in law.
This wonderful team arrived 10 minutes early (7 50 AM) and were awake, perky, and ready to go! They calmed any wedding day jitters I had, and had all of us laughing all morning long. The two of them assessed my apartment for the best lighting, and quickly got to work. It was a gorgeous assembly line of make up and hair, and by the end everyone was stunning, but looked like themselves. (which was so amazing)
When we had a bridesmaid dress malfunction, they went ABOVE AND BEYOND to literally sew her into the dress. There are no words to describe how much she saved the day here.
I am thrilled to share my hairstyling work for this Central Park bridal shoot featured over on Ruffled! Texture is one of the most important design elements I consider during a bridal consultation. The current trend of more relaxed, lived-in hair isn’t going anywhere any time soon, and as a hairstylist I couldn’t be happier. These dreamy do’s please the eye by creating movement and interesting interplay of light and shadow.

My husband and I travelled from our home in Australia to get married in NYC in December 2014. Our photographer recommended Eden from a one off experience she had had working with her. I checked out Eden’s website, photos and reviews and thought “cool, she sounds great, please let her be free!” I wasn’t disappointed!
Eden did a fabulous job on my makeup for my shower and wedding!
We did the trial in the morning right before my shower, so I was able to see how everything wore throughout the day. After making a few tweaks from the shower trial, my wedding makeup came out perfect!
Eden is so friendly and easy to work with, she put my anxious mom at ease and we laughed and talked the entire way through my initial trial.
As a dedicated cruelty free Artist, I spend a lot of time researching lines and products that are truly professional quality to my standard, which encompasses performance, animal friendly status, and good ingredients in order to met my standard of usability. Being in New York City there is an incredibly wide variety in my clientele, so I try to cover all of my bases by stocking my kit with eco friendly, natural based, and/or gluten free makeup.
